Fascinated by the complexity of human movement.
Massage therapy is a simplistic term for my practice. Using soft tissue manipulation, connective tissue release, cranio-sacral work and movement re-education, my goal is to reintroduce my clients to the fuller expression of the intelligence of the body, and its proper balance and function.

“I have been to several chiropractors and massage therapists for tendonitis, and Alan was the first person that was able to eliminate the pain I was experiencing.”
“I was really impressed with his ability to size up quite quickly what the root causes of my lower and middle back pain are. Of all the massage therapists I have seen in the past 40 years, he is the most knowledgeable about anatomy.”
“I was referred to Alan for a rotator cuff injury that I have had for a year and a half… He gets very deep without really hurting you. Since the massage my shoulder feels like it is in it's natural healthy placement for the first time!”
“This is not a spa massage. This is work. Alan is very insightful, has the ability to identify issues and address them… I've done lots of bodywork in the past, no one is as knowledgeable as Alan.”
“Alan quickly found the cranky areas on my back--even the ones from years-ago injuries I'd forgotten about. He applies considerable pressure but matched it perfectly for my small frame.”
